Midnight Birding

So lastnight I hired a taxi to take me out Cake Eater road. This road goes to the south of barrow, out on the tundra where there is a pump house for the gas lines that come into town. We did not have to go very far before seeing the first snowy owl

Not sure about this one, Maybe a ruddy turnstone or a sanderling?

Jaeger... I think I may have seen all three species while I was here this week. I think this one is a long-tailed Jaeger. I also saw Pomarine and Parasitic Jaegers. I saw some dark morphs as well.
